Freeland Valley
Antique Power Show - The FVAPC’s 19th
annual show will take place at the
Delmar Warne Field on July 23rd,
24th & 25th. This
year they are featuring miscellaneous
old farm equipment and engines of all
brands & styles.
Displays this year
will include: 110 hp Bessemer Engine,
gas engines, tractors, antique cars &
trucks, horses & wagons, old track-type
tractors & graders, crafts,
collectibles, and a flea market.
Activities will
include: Women’s Skillet Toss, Men’s
Wrench Throwing, Blacksmith, Chain Saw
Carver, Tractor Games, Sawmill, Buzz saw
and Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pulls (at 4:00
PM on the 23rd & 24th;
at 2:00 PM on the 25th).
Meals and Food will
be served by the Cumberland Volunteer
Fire Department and the Harrison
Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Homemade ice cream will be served by the
Cumberland Valley 4-H.
The scheduled
entertainment is as follows: July 23rd
at 7:00 PM - Midnight Flyer; July 24th
at 7:00 PM - New Found Country; July 25th
at 9:00 AM a church service featuring
the Green Valley Pickers and at 1:00 PM
- DoubleCut.
There will be a
loading dock available. Free Primitive
Camping is also available. For more
